Since September 2017, in her new role as the CAERC Director Branka Marceta serves the Capital Adult Education Regional Consortium for the benefit of adult education programs in the geographical region. She monitors and reports fiscal and program information; provides support and services for members and partners; and identifies and secures funding to support CAERC.
From 2006 to 2017, Branka held the position of Technology Projects Coordinator with the Outreach and Technical Assistance Network (OTAN), a leadership project funded by the California Department of Education to provide electronic collaboration, information, and support for instructional technology and distance learning to literacy and adult education providers throughout the state. In this role, Branka was creating, delivering and facilitating professional development as well as supporting the process of technology and online delivery planning by adult education providers. Before coming to OTAN, she taught ESL and other courses at Milpitas Adult Education Program. She presented over 100 times at local, regional, statewide and national events and workshops within the adult education field.
