Papert's contributions to kids programming is well known. Less recognized is that his ideas led to personal computers, bit-mapped displays, and touch screens years before Apple and other personal computer companies were founded. This talk by one of the inventors of some of this technology casts light on the technology we take for granted today, and helps light the way to the future.
