Taylor Mali says one of the most important things he does when teaching a poetry workshop is disabuse students of the notions of what a poem NEEDS to be. “It doesn’t need to be anything but some combination of entertaining, truthful, and informative.” In this session, Mali shares some of his favorite tips & prompts.
