This workshop is designed to teach beginners how to use the Chromebook, the Chrome Browser, Google Drive, and Google Apps for Education (GAFE). Participants will learn the ins and outs of their Chromebook, and understand how the device works seamlessly through all the Google Applications. Participants will see how Google Docs, Slides, and Drawings allows teachers and students to create rich content for learning and provide opportunities for real time collaboration. Participants will learn how to work collaboratively on documents, drawings, and presentations in support of common core, sound pedagogy, and innovation skills. Additional topics and applications may be covered with time permitting. Participants need to bring in their own device.
