Good teachers always find ways to connect with their students and build trusting relationships. I want to share a practical tip that can create even stronger relationships of trust with your students. The method is simply called: Checking In. Give your students a way to check-in with you confidentially at least once a day. Ask your students to report how they are feeling, and tell you something that is important to them every morning.
