Join CUE IT experts for a new workshop dedicated to technology managers deploying iPad and Mac in schools and districts of all sizes. Get an overview of Apple School Manager, the Classroom app, Shared iPad and more. CUE’s Tech Manager-Level Lead Learners will lead the session and bring their country-wide real-world experience managing iPad and Mac with the latest technologies from Apple. Attendees of this session will have hands-on experiences in deploying iOS Devices, configuring their MDMs and SIS to support 1:1 and mass deployments and will gain access to documents and workflows to ensure rollout success.

Google Workshop for Educators (Beginner)
The nationally acclaimed Google Workshop for Educators (GWE) introduces participants to innovative ways Google tools can be used in education. A full day of fast-paced presentations and hands-on activities includes experience with advanced search techniques, collaborative web-based applications, and inspirational instructional strategies. Google Certified Teachers share ways they've implemented tools such as Google Docs, Google Maps, Google Sites, and...even more. Participants who complete the event are given access to the Google Workshops for Educators Network, an online community focused on supporting educators as they learn more about the power of Google to drive student learning. This workshop is for beginners/intermediate users. CUE is an official Google Professional Development partner. Participants need to bring their own laptop not a tablet.

The Advanced Google Workshop for Educators (GWE) invites participants to delve into innovative ways Google tools can be used in education. A full day of fast-paced presentations and hands-on activities such as experience with managing the document inbox, sharing collections, beyond the basics in Google Docs, advanced features in Google Sites, using Forms to create rubrics, investigating scripts and creating interactive Maps. Participants who complete the event are given access to the Google Workshops for Educators Network (GWEN), an online community focused on supporting educators as they learn more about the power of Google to drive student learning. Video Editing Workshop with Brad Montague and Hall Davidson
Video is the masterful medium for teaching and learning. As both a formidable teacher tool and a vehicle for student-centered ​projects. The ability to cut and paste media, insert green-screening, mix music, add narration, and audio fx makes for killer video engagement and collaboration. This special all-day workshop will be led by Brad Montague, co-creator of Kid President and Hall Davidson, the emmy-winning Master of Student Media. Featuring WeVideo, cloud–based COPPA compliant editing for Chromebooks, Macs, and PCs. All attendees will receive a 6-month WeVideo for Schools Classroom License with their workshop registration. Participants need to bring in their own device.


Brad Montague is a writer, director, and father who believes if kids and grown-ups work together, we could change the world. As creator of Kid President, he developed the idea after being inspired by the young world changers at an annual summer program he and his wife founded. His work has inspired and encouraged millions of people around the world as he’s worked to creatively communicate hope to children of all ages.

Hall Davidson, Senior Director of Global Learning Initiatives at Discovery Education, has worked from think tanks in Turkey to classrooms in Tennessee. A former K-12 bilingual math teacher, he left the classroom to become part of an Emmy Award-winning team, creating math and technology integration programs He has collaborated with thought leaders including teachers, superintendents, and consortiums and now serves as a board member for ISTE, the International Society for Technology in Education.
