David Paszkiewicz

La Canada Unified School District
Lead Instructional Specialist
La Canada Flintridge
David Paszkiewicz is a Southern California educator and geek. He loves to work with educators who share similar interests and who have different perspectives, and he shares his passion for ed tech as a presenter at ISTE, CUE, Lead3, and CETPA. He is a Google Certified Educator (1 & 2) and a Google Certified Trainer, and leads summer boot camps to help teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, classified staff and substitute teachers earn Google Certification. David was happy when Project-Based Learning became a hot topic, as he had struggled for years to put a name to his style of teaching. He produced a feature-length documentary on Rubik’s Cube speedcubers, and can still solve the puzzle in about a minute (he's no speedcuber). A world traveller, he has worked with students and teachers in Japan, Europe, and Africa, but his heart is in his work with educators here at home.
