John has been a middle school teacher in King City, California for the past 25 years. He was awarded an MA in Education and loves to dive deep into instructional design. In 2017 John was recognized as a finalist for California Teacher of the Year and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship which takes him to Singapore to explore games and learning in 2019. He is a Google Innovator and an internationally recognized leader in the Minecraft in Education community and has published three books on the subject.
